facilitated in secluded woodland in east london. no prior experience needed.

as part of our offering, kin have started hosting fully certified ‘forest school’ and ‘first aid’ trainings for our adult kinship (parents & carers), facilitators and wider community to have opportunities to develop skills in this field. these training are facilitated by experienced and highly regarded facilitators who have come to us through personal connections.

kin is experiencing a high demand for all the groups we offer so we decided to find a way for the work we currently do at kin to reach beyond our forest walls so that more people, children and adults alike, are able to benefit from it. we realised that this would be through enabling other adults, whether through schools or independently, to offer their own provisions. we have been lucky enough to meet facilitators and organisations who are aligned with kin to offer these trainings in partnership with and make this vision possible.

we offer assisted bursary places on our trainings as well as four fully funded forest school traineeships each year.

  • food safety in the outdoors - level 2

    certified training by peritia training

    for anyone working with food with children or adults who wants to learn basic and essential food safety skills. combines the theory of food safety within the context of cooking in the open air with actual experiential enjoyment of cooking a campfire lunch.
